THE PEUGEOT LIONS
Since the iconic PEUGEOT lion first appeared, it has constantly evolved and has perpetually highlighted the passionate, feline character of the brand.
1905
THE BIRTH OF A CLAW
The grilles of Lion Peugeot brand cars were crowned with the lion walking on an arrow. Over the next few years, bikes and tools used variations of the same theme.

THE LION REIGNS ON THE GRILLE
Every PEUGEOT car featured a lion’s head at the top of its grille from 1933. In 1935, its design changed in the form of the “fuseau Sochaux” line.

THE FRANCHE-COMTÉ LION IS ALSO ADDED TO THE 403
For safety reasons, lions’ heads were later withdrawn from the bonnets of both the 203 and 204 in September 1958.
