April 2023: Pre-orders opened for PEUGEOT Australia's first passenger electric vehicle, the highly anticipated e-2008 Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV), in April 2023.
Bringing more choice to the fast-growing small SUV segment, the e-2008 is set to enhance the allure of the 2008 nameplate by offering customers a fully electric powertrain alongside the well-regarded internal combustion local range.
Equipped with a 50 kWh battery, a 100 kW electric motor and 260 Nm of torque, the e-2008 provides a WLTP test range of 328km1. Indicative charging times for the e-2008 via the 50kWh battery capacity include:
- Approximately thirty minutes rapid charge from 0-80% capacity via a DC Current (100kW)2
- Approximately five hours from 0-100% capacity via a three Phase 16A Wallbox (11kW)2
- Approximately seven hours and thirty minutes from 0-100% capacity via a single Phase 32A Wallbox (7.4kW)2

Distinctive features for the e-2008 include horizontal body colour coded front grille slats and exclusive e-badging on the front quarter and rear of the vehicle.
The e-2008 will come with a five-year/ unlimited kilometre warranty3 and five-year roadside assistance4.
