PEUGEOT Australia's Electrification Journey Continues as e-Partner Pre-Order Opens

March 2023: In March 2023, PEUGEOT Australia officially opened pre-orders ahead of the impending arrival of the e-Partner electric van in Australia mid-year. The e-Partner is offered in a single, long wheelbase variant, powered by a lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 50kWh, with a WLTP test range of 245 km1.

Built on the EMP-2 modular multi-energy-platform, the e-Partner delivers smooth performance and secure handling, as well as a 100% electric engine with a maximum power output of 100kW and a maximum torque of 260Nm.

Indicative charging times for the e-Partner via the 50kWh battery capacity include:
 
  • Approximately 7.5 hours from 0-100% capacity via a three Phase 16A Wallbox (11kW)2
  • Approximately 30 minutes rapid charge from 0-80% capacity via a DC Current (100kW)2

 

Kate Gillis, Managing Director PEUGEOT Australia, commented at the time saying: "The third generation Partner arrived in Australia in 2018 and since then has proven to meet a variety of needs for local small and medium sized businesses.

"We believe the benefits of the fully electric e-Partner will resonate with Australian consumers seeking a highly capable and efficient workhorse."

The e-Partner is not only efficient but practical with a loading volume of 3.9m3. With a body length of 4.75m and featuring dual rear swing barn doors, the e-Partner is designed to provide a workspace ready for the day ahead.

Inside, the intelligently designed cabin features two seats upfront with durable Curitiba grey cloth trim.

The e-Partner will come with a 5 Year/200,000km Warranty, with a three-year paintwork and 12-year corrosion warranty as well as an 8 Year/160,000km Battery warranty.4

Customers can choose between four paint colours including: Ice white standard option, Nera Black, Artense Grey and Platinum Grey.
