September 2023: Attendees of the carsales Melbourne EV Show, held on 22nd-24th September 2023, were able to explore the range of electrified PEUGEOTs and learn more about the unique offerings of the French marque in Australia. On display were:
- e-2008 SUV – offering power, efficiency, and style in one impressive package, this electric SUV's sleek lines, bold features, and attention to detail ensure it stands out from the crowd.
- e-Partner – this nimble and adaptable 100% electric van is the ideal commercial workhorse.
- 308 GT Sport PHEV – this compact hatch brings the electrifying power of allure to life with its sharp and sensual design.
- 3008 GT Sport Plug-in Hybrid AWD – the dynamism and refinement of this mid-sized SUV are enhanced with an electrified, all-wheel drive offering.
- 508 Sportswagon Plug-In Hybrid – boasting an enviable combination of sleek design, luxurious drive experience and electrified performance.
PEUGEOT Australia also gave away a PEUGEOT e-Kick, an electrically assisted scooter that provides a unique mobility solution for urban travel, and docking station package worth over $2,300 to one lucky winner.
As part of PEUGEOT's presence at the show, PEUGEOT Australia's Managing Director, Kate Gillis, delivered a keynote speech to share insights into PEUGEOT's electrifying journey which began in 1941 with the PEUGEOT VLV, and continues with new launches today and the INCEPTION CONCEPT of the future.
Speaking at the time on PEUGEOT's upcoming attendance at the Melbourne EV Show, Kate Gillis, Managing Director PEUGEOT Australia, commented: "We're excited to share PEUGEOT's vision of electrification with Australian consumers and extend an invitation to join us on this exhilarating journey.

PEUGEOT Australia's electrification journey commenced in March 2022 with the introduction of the brand's first plug-in hybrid electric variants of the popular 3008 SUV and stylish 508 Fastback. In 2023, this offering was expanded with the introduction of the 308 GT Sport Hatch PHEV and the 508 Sportswagon PHEV.
Taking PEUGEOT Australia's alluring range to the next level, the brand recently introduced its first 100% electric passenger vehicle, the e-2008 SUV, shortly after launching the e-Partner Light Commercial Vehicle.
Solidifying PEUGEOT's electrified position, the brand will welcome the 100% electric, 100% irresistible E-208, versatile E-Expert and dynamic 408 PHEV to the Australian range in 2024. Most recently, the Next-Level E-3008, an all-new electric fastback SUV, was globally revealed and confirmed to make its way to Australia.
