Discover the numerous technologies active in providing PEUGEOT-style driving comfort:
Thanks to Hill Assist technology (available on selected models), starting and manoeuvring on hills is made easier.
When on a hill (> 3% gradient), the Hill Assist feature keeps your vehicle from moving for a short moment (about two seconds) so that you have the time to switch from the brake pedal to the accelerator pedal.
The rear view camera (available on selected models) uses the central screen to make everyday parking manoeuvres easier. This advanced driver-assistance system displays the vehicle's width and trajectory using coloured lines, which makes manoeuvring safer and easier.
Hands-Free Access and Starting (HFAS) (available on selected models) is a system that locks, unlocks and starts the vehicle without taking out your electronic key.
Hands-free tailgate (available on selected models) opens and closes the motorised tailgate. Several options are available for operating the tailgate:
The “Hands-Full” feature opens or closes the vehicle’s motorised tailgate and is activated by simply waving your foot under the rear bumper.
The vehicle is equipped with a 180° video camera on the boot hatch (Visiopark 1, available on selected models) and in the grille (Visiopark 2, available on selected models). This system uses its cameras to display your vehicle's immediate environment on the touch screen. The parking assistance sensors provide information in addition to the overhead view of the vehicle. An overhead view of the vehicle in its environment is displayed in real time as you manoeuvre, providing a 360° view.
This visual representation makes it easier to align your vehicle while parking, and it displays any nearby obstacles.
Thanks to its lateral ultrasound sensors, this system (available on selected models) provides active parking assistance:
The driver controls the acceleration and braking, the gears and clutch (manual transmission). While entering and leaving the parking space, the system provides visual and audible information to the driver in order to make manoeuvring safe. The driver can take back control of the vehicle at any moment by grasping the steering wheel.
Park Assist will facilitate « parallel » (entry and exit) and « perpendicular » parking manoeuvres.
With the automatic adaptive headlight main-beam system (available on selected models), the vehicle has a camera fitted at the top of the windscreen that monitors light sources. This system automatically switches between main and dipped beam according to the lighting and traffic conditions. It thus maximises time spent on the main beam for greater safety.
The camera fitted at the top of the windscreen (available on selected models) can detect and read speed limit and derestriction signs, and display them on the instrument panel (available on selected models). The system also uses speed limit information taken from the navigation system mapping. Specific speed limits, such as those applicable to Heavy Goods Vehicles, are not displayed.
Speed recommendation complements this device: the driver can choose to change the vehicle’s speed setting to that read by the camera.
