Peugeot has a proud sporting tradition, dating back to the very beginning of its life as an automobile manufacturer. In fact, Peugeot won the world's first ever motor sport event in 1894 - and thus a burning passion for sport was born. It isn't just motor sport that Peugeot is involved with, we also have tennis, golf and rugby running through our veins.
| Motorsport After great success in the World Rally Championship in the early 2000s, Peugeot decided to focus on an exciting new challenge and returned to endurance racing which has culminated in winning the prestigious 24 Hours of Le Mans 2009 in the diesel powered 908 HDi FAP. |
| Golf Since 2006, the Peugeot Women's Classic has been the country's largest team event for amateur female golfers. It is open to as many as 110,000 female members at over 1,500 clubs. The stakes are high, with trips to state and national finals up for grabs, along with the grand prize of a trip to Paris to play in the Peugeot International Pro-Am. Peugeot is also a proud partner of the ANZ Ladies Masters and the Australian Women's Open. |
