Only a small number of 208 GTi 30th anniversary editions were allocated to Australia, so this hot hatch is guaranteed to retain its exclusivity.
The most striking design feature of the 208 GTi 30th is the optional black/red dual-paint finish: eye-catching in the extreme. A straight line disects the car at an oblique angle, dividing it up into two colour zones: textured black at the front, lacquered red at the rear. This striking design feature is echoed by the radiator grill surround, comprising an upper strip in matt black and a lower one in red. Other colours available are pearl white and ruby red.
The 208 GTi 30th is an impressive sight no matter how you look at it. At the front, its new 18" wheels with matt black rims house large red brake calipers bearing the Peugeot Sport label. At the rear, the rounded chrome-plated twin exhaust pipes ensure that the distinctive tones of the new 153kW e-THP S&S (Stop & Start technology) engine (a symbolic 208 bhp). Viewed in profile, this GTi Legend presents a suspension that's been lowered by 10mm, underscored by the side skirts and wheel arch extensions. The wider tracks and large, prominent wheels ensure even better road-holding and extra-sporty performance. And in a nod to the original GTi, the rear quarter ellipse bears a 208 GTi 30th logo.
The interior of the 208 GTi 30th anniversary limited edition perfectly matches its exterior design and dynamic personality, further underscoring a sporty nature that's more radical than ever before. Black and red are once again the key colours, with particular attention paid to each detail: Peugeot Sport branded bucket seats with Alcantara trim accompanied by black leather effect fabric; plastic-coated fabric with red contrast stitching; a shiny black instrument panel; decorative features in glossy black; black door panels with red borders and top-of-the-range floor mats in red, all working together in harmonious elegance. A numbered plate overhead marked "208 GTi 30th" adds a further exclusive touch to the cabin.
Combining advanced technology with fine design, the driver's seat is designed to help you become one with your vehicle. Take your place in the bucket seat, which was specially developed by Peugeot Sport, and rest your hands on the compact steering wheel of the GTi legend.
The head-up instrument panel is directly in view, allowing you to read key vehicle information instantly without taking your eyes off the road, putting you in the ideal position for an exclusive driving experience.
