The new PEUGEOT 308 GTi by PEUGEOT Sport leaves nothing to chance with the Drive Assist and City Park packs. Both packs provide a host of advanced driver assistance systems to help with day to day driving.
The multi-function camera recognises speed limit signs and alerts you to the limit on the instrument panel. It is recommended that you save the speed read as a new instruction in your cruise control or speed limiter, if it is active.
This alert detects when the white line is crossed unintentionally or irregularly if the indicator has not been activated. The audible and visual alert is particularly useful if the driver is drowsy or loses concentration momentarily. The Active Lane Keeping Assist System also provides a route correction function: as soon as the system identifies a risk of involuntarily crossing one of the marking lines detected on the ground, the steering system steers in the opposite direction to keep the vehicle within its initial lane.
With the four sensors on the front and rear bumpers of your 308 GTi by PEUGEOT SPORT, this feature warns you of the presence of a vehicle in the blind spot during your journey on either the left or the right-hand side. A warning light will then appear on one of the external rear-view mirrors or on the dashboard screen.
In addition to the sustained warning light on the mirror on the side of the vehicle concerned, the system will become active when a change of direction is applied if a line on the road is crossed with the indicator activated, in order to help the driver to avoid a collision.
