PEUGEOT Sport developed the 308 GTi on the basis of a very clear brief: a compact, sporty car that's punchy and thrilling, for the ultimate in driving pleasure. This vision is clearly encapsulated in every aspect of the car.
The beating heart of the 308 GTi by PEUGEOT Sport is a Euro 6-compliant 200kW (270hp) 1.6-litre turbo THP S&S (stop and start) engine – enough to see the vehicle accelerate to 100km/h in as little as 6.0 seconds and can cover 1,000 m from a standing start in just 25.3 seconds. It develops peak torque of 330Nm at just 1,900rpm and feature a six-speed manual transmission.
The entire vertical suspension at the front has been specially designed with stiffer springs and a calibrated shock absorber with hydraulic stop.
The adjustable chassis, the high-pressure injection engine (200 bar), the sound of the exhaust, and the Torsen® limited-slip differential make the new 308 GTi something well worth celebrating.

The contours of the 308 GTi by PEUGEOT Sport are bold and sporty. With its unique posture, 308 GTi by PEUGEOT Sport sits 11mm lower to the ground, this coupled with 19’’ aluminium Carbone wheels gives the car an imposing stance. Hints of the cars potential can be found throughout: twin exhaust pipes, 380 mm front brake discs pinched by red calipers branded PEUGEOT Sport, chequered flag inspired radiator grille, GTi logos on the front wings and tailgate, aerodynamic deflectors at the base of the bumpers - devotees and GTi purists alike will be delighted.
The front bucket seats are upholstered in alcantara with red stitched detail bearing the PEUGEOT Sport logo. They offer superb lateral support, allowing you to merge with the car and feel its trajectory, regardless of the driving conditions. The compact, dimensions of the steering wheel deliver a natural, precise grip. Encased in full-grain leather, it displays the GTi logo at its base, plus a red centering mark at the top. It gives the driver a clear view of the head-up instrument panel, the chequered background motif on the counters and the GTi message that lights up on the centre panel upon ignition.
The large 9.7'' touchscreen is perfectly integrated into the soft-touch dashboard, adding the finishing touch to the PEUGEOT i-Cockpit. The inherent ergonomics of the dashboard make driving a safer and more intuitive experience - essential in a car with such formidable capabilities.
The Driver Sport Pack that comes as standard offers you the option of further enhancing the sporty ambiance of the vehicle. Just press the Sport button on the centre console, and the instrumentation changes from white to red, more information becomes available on the centre panel (power, torque, turbo pressure, lateral and longitudinal acceleration) and the engine sound is amplified.
