Peugeot’s compact SUV – the 3008 was honoured last Friday with a prestigious “Design Award” presented by Good Design Australia in recognition for design excellence.

In 2004 Peugeot pioneered a micro-hybrid stop & start starter-alternator technology. Over the following thirty six months more than 30 patents were filed and a total investment of 3 million EUROS was made with nearly 500 technicians and engineers involved.

With the launch of the new 508 range, Peugeot reaffirms its presence and its ambitions in one of its traditional strong suits - the grand touring car segment.

The new Peugeot 308 comes with a fresh look and will feature a range of EURO 5 petrol and HDi diesel engines, including the innovative e-HDi micro-hybrid technology which optimises fuel consumption and CO2 emissions.

Peugeot’s new 508 will make its first local public appearance at this year’s Australian International Motor Show in Melbourne. .

Buoyed by the excitement surrounding the immediate success of the 508 in Europe, today Peugeot Australia confirmed the model line up and the launch date for the striking new 508 range.
