Road handling

e-HDI Micro-hybrid technology
Protecting our planet's future is one of today's greatest challenges. Peugeot has risen to this challenge by endowing its 308 range with an e-HDi engine featuring the next-gen Stop & Start system, which uses reversible-alternator technology to automatically turn off the engine whenever the car stops moving, such as at a red light or a stop sign. One distinctive feature of the new system is the seamless restart when the driver is ready to get the car moving again. As a result, e-HDi ensures improved fuel consumption and reduced CO2 emissions. The technology is coupled with a six-speed semi-auto EGC gearbox.
