WhatCar? Car of the Year 2010 & 2011
After a stunning European debut capped by being named the overall Car of the Year 2010 and Best Crossover 2010 by influential UK magazine WhatCar?, the Peugeot 3008 compact SUV has reinforced its credentials by again claiming Best Crossover 2011. Steve Fowler, WhatCar? Editor in Chief, said "Last year's Car of the Year rules roost yet again in the increasingly competitive 'crossover' category. The Peugeot 3008 offers levels of class and comfort that rivals can't match and with the 1.6ltr turbo petrol engine under the bonnet, its great fun to drive too."
Australian International Design Award
Peugeot’s compact SUV – the 3008 was honoured in July 2011 with a prestigious “Design Award” presented by Good Design Australia in recognition for design excellence. The 3008 redefines the traditional notion of an SUV by combining passenger car refinement and advanced technologies and is positioned at the crossroad between several existing vehicles: the SUV, the MPV and hatchback with a versatile, raised architecture body style. Brandon Gien, Managing Director of Good Design Australia said all entries underwent a thorough physical inspection assessing form, function, quality, safety, sustainability, innovation and best in class design. "Award winners are the result of unwavering dedication to good design and commitment to a professional design process. Innovation, creativity and attention to detail are clearly at the heart of each project." Gien said. The judges also commented: “The Peugeot 3008 - a beautiful car packed with clever features including a panoramic glass roof. Why aren't all SUVs like this one?”
Low Cost Fixed Price Servicing
Every new 3008 comes with the advantage of the Peugeot AfterCare Assured Service Plan, delivering peace-of-mind with a remarkably low $330 total cost for each of the first three services scheduled in the first three years or 60,000km, whichever comes first. The price includes all parts and consumables (such as oil and filters) which are part of the service schedule - so there are no surprises when it comes to forecasting the costs of ownership.
