Road holding
From the pseudo McPherson-type front suspension with anti-roll bars to the rear suspension with deformable cross member, the hydraulic shock absorbers to the 15" or 16" tyre mount, every detail has been carefully crafted to optimise road handling. The 207 offers a wide variety of choice, with two petrol engines and an HDi diesel engine available to choose from. The economical 1.4-litre engine packs plenty of punch while the 1.6-litre engine possesses progressive technology such as variable valve timing and a variable inlet valve lift system. Our 1.6-litre HDi turbo diesel engine offers striking performance with high torque and a low-pressure turbocharger providing impressive driveability. In addition, our leading diesel technology offers amazing fuel economy plus lower CO2 emissions. All 207 engines are Euro 5 emissions standard compliant.

In addition, our leading diesel technology offers amazing fuel economy plus lower CO2 emissions. The HDi diesel engine is fitted with Peugeot's world first FAP particle filter which virtually eliminates diesel particles.
