Engine of the year
With exhilerating performance delivered from the 128kW THP (Turbo High Pressure) engine, the 207 GTi delivers real driving pleasure, sharp acceleration and strong, constant thrust at all speeds, with a rapid acceleration from 0-100km/h in just 7.1 seconds. No wonder it was awarded International Engine of the Year in its class three years in a row in 2007, 2008 and 2009!
Transmission
The 5 speed manual is renowned for its sharp, precise gear changes. A perfect match to its 1.6 high pressure turbo engine ensuring excellent drivability.
17-inch alloys
Enhancing the GTi's road-hugging qualities are the high performance W-rated tyres mounted on 17" eight spoke 'Melbourne' alloy wheels.
